Adventures
Katie grew up in North Wales where she spent her time exploring local woodlands, hills and rivers. She continues to enjoy adventures in the mountains, has paddled across an underground lake, climbed the Old Man of Stoer and completed the London Marathon.
Nature & Crafts
With a keen interest in nature (and a Labrador) Katie can often be found outdoors enjoying nature walks and spotting wildlife. She is also a maker, having studied Fine Art at university, Katie enjoys wood carving, print making and other crafts.
Experience & Qualifications
Katie has been leading community activities since 2007 and has been an Outdoor Education Instructor since 2011. As well as a Forest School Leader, Katie also has qualifications in leading groups hill walking, climbing and mountain biking. She has worked for Staffordshire Wildlife Trust since 2015 and has experience of leading outdoor education activities linked to the curriculum.
